What Fundraising Really Means

Eric Earling over at Sound Politics has a fascinating take on what fundraising really means. Seems Dino Rossi needed a little pep talk after being beaten, handily and consistently, by Governor Chris Gregoire in the money take.

According to Earling, "the dollars raised and contributors earned is not necessarily the point. The enthusiasm behind that success is."

Enthusiasm indeed! Which is why Ron Paul and Ralph Nader are still in the race. But, truth be told, Dino Rossi, like Dave Reichert and Hillary Clinton, can only win if enthusiasm translates into dollars.
