Earlier in the day, the 270 elected Hillary Clinton delegates in the 43rd Legislative District were crammed into the Lincoln High School auditorium among well over a thousand Barack Obama supporters, subject to chants of "O-bam-a!" on a regular basis. But once the voting was done, when the district allotted its 67 state delegates between Clinton and Obama, things got a little safer for the Clinton folks.
Hollywood actor Sean Astin, stars of such films as "The Goonies", "Rudy" and the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, addressed the 43rd Legislative District Caucus as a surrogate for Hillary Clinton.
"I don't want to vote for a rock star. I want somebody who is going to take care of the issues."
