Never forget that politics is a business. Look at Governor Christine Gregoire’s appointment of David Mosely as the new chief of the state’s embattled ferry system. While both parties say Mosely, a government veteran, is highly competent, look for his appointment to become a political issue if the ferry doesn’t get better fast. Mosely’s wife is Anne Fennessy, a Democratic hired gun who served as Communications Director to Governor Mike Lowry and Seattle Mayor Charles Royer.
