Rossi camp memo hits Gregoire on budget

The Rossi campaign continues to hit Democratic Governor Christine Gregoire on the budget.
On Wednesday the Rossi camp released a memo to “Washington State Media” with the subject line: State Budget Outlook.
“The state cannot keep up with the spending of Governor Gregoire. With a 33% increase in spending, all it takes is for our economy to level out and our budget will be upside down. We do not have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem.
“Bottom line: Gregoire’s massive increase in spending has left the state with a $2.4 billion deficit that she will close with a tax increase – and Dino Rossi won’t. “
