Huckabee Demands Recount

The Associated Press is reporting that Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is calling for a statewide recount and retraction of the GOP's statement declaring McCain the winner.
"It's a major exercise, but Luke Esser owes the people of Washington nothing less," Huckabee adviser Jim Pinkerton said today.
Esser's response was polite, if not defiant. "We're happy to do that," he said of retabulating the votes. But, "our focus right now is to get a count completed before thinking about a recount."
Full results are expected this week.
