Burner in DC
By Alex IsenstadtDemocrat Darcy Burner, running for U.S. Congress in District 8, is one of several candidates meeting with the DCCC Tuesday and Wednesday, a Democratic official says.
The focus of the get together, the official says, is helping to better prepare candidates to handle attacks from conservative 527 groups.
Democrats believe that Freedoms Watch could play a role in Burner’s campaign against Republican incumbent Dave Reichert.
Burner is also using the Washington trip to meet with reporters and supporters.
