Puyallup's Larry Platt has entered the race for State Rep. in the 25th District as a member of the Progressive Party. As TCH's Chris Mulick notes, he is also one of the founding members of the party here in Washington dating back to 2003.
The seat is open due to Rep. Joyce McDonald's retirement, and is also being sought by Puyallup Republican Bruce Dammeier.
Larry Pratt for Puyallup!!!!
Larry Pratt's hot for change alright, and will be a breath of fresh air in the WA legislature. He needs and deserves support.
Larry's on Facebook and Democracy For America if you want to get to know him better. You can also visit www.waprogparty.org for more info on the Progressive Party of Washington State, which has experienced a resurgence since 2003, but has roots in the earlier part of the 20th Century. Pax.
Puyallup needs local rep.
Larry Pratt is a former union shop steward, a long time Puyallup resident, dog rescue volunteer, outspoken critic of both the Republicans and Democrats and has great ideas for making government work for us.
You have probably read his letters to the editor in TNT. He faults the GOP for favoring the rich, sticking us with this war and the list goes on...AND he also portrays the Democrats as do nothing lovers of the wealthy corporations, giving away our dollars in tax breaks to companies who send jobs overseas.
If you want change, talk to Pratt.
