Movin' on up

Two capitol stalwarts announced yesterday that they had been hired on in the private sector.

State Sen. Brian Weinstein (D-Mercer Island) known for, among other things, his support of the homeowners rights legislation, is retiring from the Senate and will join the law firm of Bergman & Frockt in the position of senior counsel. Bergman & Frockt specializes in asbestos and consumer protection cases nationally.

Rob McKenna's deputy chief of staff and former communications director Greg Lane will be leaving the office to become president of TVW.
