Democrat Phyllis Huster of Maple Valley has announced that she will challenge Senate Deputy Minority Leader Cheryl Pflug (R-Maple Valley) in the 5th Legislative District, which covers the Sammamish Plateau and I-90 corridor east of Seattle.
Mulick has the details on Huster's campaign, which will kick off on April 20 followed by a series of town hall meetings on education, transportation, health care and the economy. She says feedback from those events will drive her agenda and platform.

Phyllis Huster for Senate
Phyllis Huster is a tremendous candidate, filled with excitement, engergy and a clear new vision for the needs and problems of the 5th Legislative District. She understands the issue of school overcrowding, especially in the Snoqualmie Valley School district and is taking an active roll in finding solutions. Phyllis leaves no stone unturned and actively seeks answers. We need that kind of leadership.
Please vote for Phyllis in her bid for the State Senate. It is time for a change. It is time for an infusion of new ideas and strategies.
