BIAW adds $4 million to spend on governor race

The Building Industry Association of Washington's ChangePAC has poured another $4 million dollars into their already ample campaign war chest, a committee called It's Time for a Change.

So far the BIAW has notably spent money on a number of television ads and a series of controversial billboards and campaign signs throughout the rural areas of the state.

This brings the total amount raised by the pro-Dino Rossi group to $7.2 million, with just over $5.1 million left to spend. The spending comes despite the fact that they are currently being sued by the attorney general for illegal campaign finance activities.

Their left-leaning equivalent, the pro-Gregoire Evergreen Progress, has raised more than $5 million, and has about $3 million cash on hand.
