New Gregoire ad hits Rossi on minimum wage statement

Gov. Chris Gregoire's campaign has released its latest ad, running statewide, to criticize Dino Rossi for his statement at last Thursday's debate that he would consider lowering the minimum wage for certain segments of the job sector.

The ad begins by saying Gregoire "stood up for Washington's working families" and concludes that "its Dino Rossi we can't trust on the economy," and links Rossi to the economic policies of President Bush.

In addition to the minimum wage line the spot again touts the property tax cap, the 225,000 job creation figure, and the state's half billion dollar rainy day fund.
