Larsen keen on CD2 races

U.S. Rep. Rick LarsenDENVER - Congressman Rick Larsen (D-Arlington) sees the results of his "top two" primary race as good news for local Democrats in Northwest Washington. Larsen led the four candidate field with just under 55 percent of the vote, leading his general election opponent Rick Bart (R-Arlington) by seventeen points. Two other Democratic challengers, Doug Schaffer and Glen S. Johnson, received five and three percent of the vote, respectively.
"I feel good about the results of the primary," Larsen said, adding that it felt like vindication for the work he had done on behalf of veterans in his own race.
Besides that, he was also very confident about a lot of the legislative district races in the northwest corner of the state.
"I want to mention a few," he told PolitickerWA.com earlier this week. "Liz Loomis in the 44th is a targeted seat by both parties. Having a good Democratic turnout is important for her and she came out ahead in the primary."
In the 10th Legislative District, Larsen also believes that Tim Knue and Patricia Terry have "excellent shots" at being elected to state House positions.
"I wouldn't put it past the 39th LD to put in a few Democrats as well," he added about Scott Olson and Fred Walser.

I do not understand HOW Larsen can endorse a criminal for office?
Fred Walser has a 30 some year record of the behaviors and inappropriate behaviors he continues to demonstrate and which resulted in his conviction and probation.
How can we send him to Olympia to make laws when he thinks they do not apply to him?
He's had a committee on US 2 but they've not accomplished anything except to sit for meetings. That's not accomplishing a thing!

Let's recap here.
You say you are a registered Republican. No one registers by party in WA.
You say you are voting for Fred Walser, a convicted criminal and serial liar, instead of Val Stevens because of something that had nothing whatsoever to do with her or her campaign.
You say I have a "printer," even though I only showed up to one event with anything printed -- the Monroe Chamber forum -- which was before the $3 bill thing, which undercuts your claim that the $3 bill had anything to do with your support of Walser.
And you say I have a racist agenda, which is a damned lie.
Do you or Law-man 22 care to put your real names behind your lies? Or are you too cowardly?

It's about time we got some Fred Walser supporters out here. They've been absent, probably because they know they can't fight truth. See the web site for documented facts about what he has done, going back decades.
If you DO support Walser, then you either do not know, or do not care, about his long history of lying and covering up -- which includes filing false sexual harassment reports and trying to convince the Sheriff to violate public records law -- culminating in last June's guilty plea, criminal conviction, and one-year jail sentence.
And if he doesn't pay his $20,000 restitution before election day, he may be spending election day in jail.
Such as what? Are you going to repeat Walser's lie that he is the one who got funding last session for U.S. 2, when, in fact, it was Val Stevens' work to shame Walser's fellow Democrat, Mary Margaret Haugen, into making good on her previously failed promise to give more money to U.S. 2? Walser had nothing to do with that.
And Walser has cost the 39th District voters, and voters of this state, tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of dollars for his many misdeeds.

Val Stevens campaign makes my family sick
It's about time some body stood up to these idiots that are giving politics and our district a bad name. I grew up in 39th L.D. and some of my best memories as a child were participating in 4-H, and working at the evergreen state fair in Monroe. However, this year when I took my family, my son noticed the 39th L.D. Republicans "GOP" selling fake racist money with Barrack Obama's face on it depicting him as a Muslim. I had to explain to my son why someone would do such a thing and think it was ok. I cant believe they still make these people. The Val Stevens campaign should be embarrassed and apologize for there actions. I am a registered republican, and I am voting for Fred Walser because I want more from my politicians and there campaigns. I want to see a campaign about the issues, and what our senators will do for us when they are in Olympia, not a campaign from some dork with a guitar, a printer and a racist agenda!

Of course Larsen is talking about Fred Walser. If you don't like Fred, you must be living under a rock. Fred Walser has done more for the the 39th L.D. in 5 months of campaigning than Val Stevens has accomplished in 20 yrs of office. Just like the same old turquoise jacket she wears everyday and for every photo opt. Maybe if she wasn't living in a bus, avoiding paying state taxes, that pay her wages, and her monthly trips to Hawaii and her soon retirement, would have time and a place to wash her clothes. Val Stevens has to go. She is old, out dated and she makes no sense when she talks. She still thinks the biggest problem facing Arlington is same sex marriage. Are you kidding me.... she is definitly suffering from dementia.

If so, does that mean he endorses putting a criminal in office?
Have you seen the recent stuff on fred-walser.com? It's pretty damning, as usual. All the evidence supporting things he's done, and now new stuff from his superiors at the WSP, that show his crimes in Sultan were nothing new for him: false allegations against others, lying to protect friends and himself, and more.
"Your actions ... cost the department and the Snohomish Police Department several thousand dollars, lessened the public's confidence in the department's operation and training, and was motivated by your friendship to Patrick Slack, Sr."
