Here is a brief rundown of turnout numbers and election websites for today's primary. Results from around the state will begin to go online around 8:00 PM, with a few counties beginning their updates at 8:15. The secretary of state's office has an interactive map with links to county auditors election websites for every county in the state here.
So far, most counties have received roughly a quarter of the mail-in ballots, with a significant amount sure to come in later today, tomorrow and potentially Thursday. Secretary of state Sam Reed has predicted that complete voter turnout will be around 46 percent.
King and Pierce Counties also allow some polling, and interested observers can follow along with what is going down throughout King County on their election day blog here.
Below is a list of assorted counties and the percentage of ballots they have received so far.
Spokane County: 27.57 percent
Yakima County: 35.27 percent
Clark County: 28.22 percent
Whatcom County: 26.01 percent
Pierce County 25.68 percent
King County: 20.75 percent, and notably within King County the 36th and 46th Legislative Districts have seen less than 19 percent of the ballots so far.
